Jason Richman announced as new SafeGraph CEO
World of DaaS Exclusive
Jason Richman will succeed Auren Hoffman as new CEO of SafeGraph. Hoffman will remain active in the business and serve as Chairman.
Jason Richman, a seven year SafeGraph veteran, was previously the company’s Chief Revenue Officer.
The Places (POI) data market has become increasingly critical as businesses across industries rely on accurate location intelligence to drive decisions in everything from retail site selection to advertising and lead generation. SafeGraph is one of the market leaders in the POI data business – competing directly with Precisely, Data Axle, Foursquare, and others. SafeGraph is trusted for its data accuracy, transparency, and customer support, enabling businesses to innovate with confidence.
“I'm thrilled to step into this new leadership role at SafeGraph and continue building on the incredible foundation Auren has created. Auren has been a friend, teammate and mentor to me over the past seven years. This opportunity is both a privilege and a responsibility, and I look forward to continuing driving innovation and growth while staying true to the core values that have made SafeGraph what it is today.” Richman said.
Richman added, “the rapid advances in AI have only reiterated what we’ve known all along - accurate, timely quality data is a non-negotiable asset. AI models are only as powerful as the data that they are trained on, and as the demand for more precise and insightful applications grows, so too does the need for reliable data. At SafeGraph, we are committed to continue delivering clean, accurate data on physical places to empower innovators to bring new AI-enabled applications to life.”
“Jason Richman is one of the most talented people I have ever worked with. His intensity and bias for action have been primary drivers of our continued success. Jason has been an amazing teammate for the last seven years and I’m very excited with where he will take the company,” said Auren Hoffman who will be leading up a new incubator NQB8.
SafeGraph is a profitable pure-play data company that builds high quality data about the physical world. The company has previously spun out multiple businesses and Hoffman’s new role will be overseeing those assets.
